Every item on this page was donated to support Currents of Courage, a Wilderness Voice Project documentary. Bid generously, take something great home, and help seven Idaho men tell their story.
South Fork Lodge— One night and dinner for two ($1,800 value). There's a stretch of the South Fork of the Snake where the trout don't care what you're carrying. One night and dinner for two at South Fork Lodge, built on the banks of one of America's best dry-fly rivers, with a chef-driven table and a whiskey bar the guides swear by. Come as strangers to the water. Leave, like the men in this film did, a little lighter. Expires on: 10/23/26 https://www.southforklodge.com
"Migrant Mother" by Dorothea Lange — Photogravure, Working Theory Press ($500 value) This piece comes from Roy Stryker's personal FSA collection, archived at the University of Louisville, photographs Stryker handpicked from the 170,000 he oversaw as head of the Farm Security Administration's Historical Section, directing photographers like Dorothea Lange through the Great Depression. Russell Dodd founded Working Theory Press to produce contemporary fine art photogravures, refining a nineteenth-century printing process with modern process controls. Each print is hand printed onto archival cotton paper and carries an embossed printer's mark identifying it as part of the FSA/Stryker Collection. https://www.instagram.com/rhdodd/
McGlochlin Family Restored Bamboo Fly Rod ($350 Value) A 9-foot, 3-piece bamboo fly rod with two tips, built in the 1930s and fished by three generations of the McGlochlin family, who homesteaded Idaho's Wood River Valley in the 1800s. The rod spent most of its life on Silver Creek and the Wood River. Dorothy McGlochlin, the second-generation owner, was a noted fly tyer who tied for local guides and fishermen, including Ernest Hemingway. Russell Dodd spent the past year restoring it, replacing broken and missing guides, fitting new ferrules, and rewrapping it in matching silk thread, work that brought this piece of Wood River Valley history back to the water before sending it to auction. https://www.instagram.com/rhdodd/
Matt Graif — "Hope Has a View," Original Illustration, mixed media with archival pigment inks, 24"x32" ($1,200 value) Matt Graif, a Florida artist, has spent over thirty years distilling complex stories into identities that resonate. For Currents of Courage, he translated the film's themes of courage, brotherhood, and the healing power of wild places into a visual presence that carries the story beyond the screen. "Hope Has a View" is a limited-edition illustration, one of only 10 prints, that he created to support the film, a rare chance to own a piece of the same hand that helped shape its look from the start. https://www.mattgraif.com
Athletic Club Boise— Signed Soccer Ball & Case ($250 value). A soccer ball signed by Athletic Club Boise, Idaho's first professional soccer club, from a debut season that packed the stands and sold out a home opener. A keepsake from a team just getting started — not unlike this film, still finding its audience one screening at a time. https://www.acboise.com/
Bert's Brewing Brew Day for Four with Brewmaster David Hall, plus lunch (Value: Priceless). Bert's has been Garden City's neighborhood taproom for years — the kind of place where regulars pull up a stool and don't leave for a while. Spend a day behind the tanks with Bert's own brewmaster, David: mashing in, dialing in a recipe, and learning exactly what goes into the pint in your hand. Four spots, plus lunch on the house. The kind of day that turns into a standing invitation. All participants must be 21+. bertsbrewing.com
Hotel Renegade — One Night Stay (up to $250/night value) Downtown Boise has a new kind of quiet, the Hotel Renegade, all copper tubs and rooftop views, one of only two hotels in the state carrying a AAA Four Diamond rating. One night here is a chance to slow down before the next current pulls you forward. Sometimes rest is its own kind of brave. https://www.hotelrenegade.com/
Idaho Steelheads— 4 Tickets & Swag Bag ($300 value). A night at Idaho Central Arena, watching the Steelheads chase a Kelly Cup, swag bag included. Boise's hockey team plays fast and loud, the kind of night where strangers end up cheering the same goal. Bring someone. Some of the best conversations happen shoulder to shoulder, eyes on the ice. https://idahosteelheads.com/
Stanley High Country Inn — Two Nights & Dinner at Limbert's ($750 Value—one-year redemption) Stanley sits at the foot of the Sawtooths, and the High Country Inn has been the town's living room for fishermen and wanderers for years. Two nights, plus dinner at Limbert's, with a hot tub waiting under a sky that doesn't quit. This is Idaho2Fly water, the kind of place where men go quiet, then start talking. https://stanleyinn.com/

The Riverside Hotel — One Night Stay (approx. $150–$250/night value) Fourteen acres along the Boise River, two saltwater pools, and live music most nights. Hemlock — Gift Card & Whiskey Glasses ($200 value) A steakhouse built into the Inn at 500 Capitol, Hemlock pours a serious cocktail and cooks a better steak, with a gift card and a pair of whiskey glasses to bring the evening home. Good food, good company, the same ingredients that turned seven strangers into brothers on a riverbank. https://www.hemlockboise.com/
The Fox Den Spa — Spa Services ($250 value) Boise's sugaring studio, tucked on Overland Road, where the treatments are personal and the pace is unhurried. A gift certificate for services here isn't a luxury so much as permission to sit still for an hour, something the men in this film had to relearn, one riverbank at a time. https://thefoxdenspa.com/
Julie Stevens Watercolor — "Two Lines, One Story" ($400 value) Memories of coloring with my dad as a child have stayed with me and quietly shaped a lifelong love of painting. Over the years, I've returned to art time and again, never as a full-time pursuit, but for the simple joy it brings. My subjects may change, inspired by moments, places or feelings, but the peace and happiness I find in painting has remained constant. The opportunity to support Currents of Courage, and the men it helps, is legendary for me. — Julie Stevens
Julie Stevens Watercolor Personalized Pet Portrait ($100 each, 5 available). Alongside "Two Lines, One Story," Julie is also offering a personalized watercolor pet portrait, painted from a photo of the winning bidder's own animal. There's something about painting a creature someone loves that carries the same quiet joy she finds in the rest of her work — a chance to capture not just a likeness, but the particular way a pet fills up a home. 5 available, $100 each.
Dogtopia of Boise-Greenbelt — One Week Doggy Daycare ($120 value) A week of daycare at Dogtopia, where the playrooms are grouped by size and temperament and every dog gets to come home tired and happy. David Nehmer — "Sawtooth Silence," Sawtooth Range, 20"x60" ($600 value) Shot at zero degrees after snowshoeing in to get the angle, this black-and-white panorama catches the Sawtooths mid-storm, snow still moving across the peaks. Photography runs three generations deep in David's family, from a grandfather who never went anywhere without a camera to a father who built his own darkroom enlarger. A quiet, hard-won image from the same photographer behind this film. https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-nehmer-875b227/
David Nehmer — "Last Light, Grand Tetons," 18"x24" ($400 value) An October evening on the Snake, the Tetons catching the day's last color while the water below holds every bit of it, gold grass, blue peaks, a sky doing three things at once. The kind of frame built as much on color and texture as on the mountain itself. Taken by David Nehmer, executive producer and director of photography on Currents of Courage. https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-nehmer-875b227/
